How should I prepare for my boudoir session?

 Skincare and Grooming

  • Moisturize: Hydrate your skin the night before and the morning of your session for a healthy glow.

  • Hair Removal: If you plan to shave or wax, do so at least 1-2 days before to avoid redness or irritation.

  • Avoid Tanning: Skip spray tans or heavy tanning to prevent uneven skin tones.

2. Clothing and Outfits

  • Try on Outfits in Advance: Ensure a good fit and comfort level for anything you plan to bring.

  • Steam or Iron: Make sure your clothing is wrinkle-free for polished photos.

3. Beauty Preparation

  • Clean Hair: Wash your hair the day before (not the same day) so it's fresh but manageable for styling.

  • Natural Nails: Neutral or polished nails look great in photos—avoid chipped polish.

4. Health and Wellness

  • Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water the day before to avoid puffiness.

  • Get Rest: A good night's sleep helps you feel energized and refreshed.

  • Eat a Light Meal: Eat something light before your session to keep your energy up. We will provide a post shoot snack bowl!

5. Mental and Emotional Prep

  • Practice Posing: Look at boudoir inspiration photos and try a few poses in the mirror to get comfortable.

  • Relax: Nerves are natural! Trust your photographer to guide you.
